Is there a mini versoin high chair that I can carry around with me for an infant? What do you use when you are out at someones house?

Infant I used the bounce seat, then when she was a few months old did the bumbo seat.

We have the Fisher Price Healthy Care Chair or something like that. It is honest to god the best $25 baby item EVER!

The one PP posted above is nice, but this one (the FP) folds up nice and compact, we took it on a cruise with us!

We used to feed DS in his FP rocker when we went to MIL's. We recently bought the Fisher Price Healthy Care Booster seat and he loves it! Very light, portable, and he can eat at the dining table with everyone else.

For the grandparents' houses, I bought this one which I like - can be put away when not in use. But I don't travel with it - it stays at the grandparents' house.

This goes EVERYWHERE with us, and I love it. DS loves it too! Lightweight, convenient handle and the toy tray pops out easily when it is time to eat but keeps DC occupied while you prepare food or eat your own. It's all plastic so it is easy to clean. Two thumbs up.

I have this seat except without the rain forest thing. I love it!! I keep it in the car so we always have it when we need it. It's great for restaurants too. Much better than those gross high chairs and you know the tray is a clean surface.

Re: Portable High Chair type thing?

FYI the Fisher Price one doesn't recline so while it's good for an older infant, probably not for one your DD's age.
