Portfolio & Interview Question?
I have an interview tomorrow and the principal wanted me to bring either 1) Samples of student work or 2)unit plans.
I don't have anything like that in my portfolio. I have letters of reference, something I did while student teaching that was put on a website and my observations.
Should I make something up? Should I not bring anything? I didn't think to save anything in Florida.

I would throw together a unit plan ASAP. Do you know what position you are interviewing for? I would try to go on nysed.gov and find some indicators for that grade and build a unit around it.

no. everything i did was day by day and I never saved anything because I actually never knew to save anything.

oh, when I student taugh the university made us do a unit plan, complete with the lessons.
