Possible JCREW boycott...
I'm so pizzed at JCREW today. I just put on the 70 dollar sweater that I bought the week before school, and it's a MESS. I have fuzzies all over my friggin pants, and pills ALL over the sweater. I'm the type of person who buys multiples of everything if I like it, and needless to say I bought THREE of these sweaters. They FIT and LOOKED great when I tried them on. GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!
Anyone have this experience with JCREW or other stores?

What sweater is it? You should write or call them. They are a customer serviced oriented company who would probably be more than willing to help you/refund you and would welcome product improvement suggestions.

That's a great suggestion, Juliet. I'm just so annoyed because I walked out of that store spending 210 on those three sweaters alone.
Oh yea, it's a v-neck sweater angora/mix sweater with a slight weave in it. Sounds gross the way I'm explaining it - not doing it much justice.
I don't even know if I still have the receipt. Do you think they'd still do something for me?
ETA... I can't do math!!!

They will practically let you return anything if you call.

For something defective, they should take it back. Especially since it is from this year.
I have returned defective merchandise. They were great!

I returned a sweater that was a few years old, because of a hole that developed. Since it was an item that they carried every season, they just gave me a new one.

Also remember, if you put it on a credit card and they give you a hassle you can just tell them that you want to dispute the charge. They should accomodate yoiu then.
Seriously, though, they stand behind their products and should be very helpful, especiallly since you bought three of the same sweater and I am assuming the other two still have tags.

jcrew will let you return anything. i am the queen at returning stuff. i had a sweater from them once and i washed it and it lost its shape and got stretched out. i probably washed it wrong and hung it wrong, but needless to say they took it back and sent me a brand new one, after it was three years old. another time i had a sweater from them and a few months later it developed a hole. i returned it. sweaters from them can be $$$ and they should develop a hole....
i have had many instances with other places and clothes have gotten holes a month after buying them or after one wash they look like crap. sorry i pay money for my clothes and they shouldnt be disposable.
