possible stupid question about how to make curls witha hair straightener..
i heard you can do this, have tried and CANT FIGURE IT OUT.. so my stupid question is:
how the f do you do it??

You have to hold the straightener at 90 degrees to your hair and then pull down.

its so hard to explain..
I recently was researching how to do this as well..I went to youtube and there are a ton of people demonstrating this on there...just put curling hair with straightener in the search box and you will get a bunch..it was helpful for me to watch people doing it...

Don't feel bad. I can barely figure out how to curl my hair with a CURLING IRON.  
I am so hair challenged it's not even funny!

kind of. I've tried doing this with my CHI and it kinda half works, but I think have to have the patience to do this lol which so far I haven't

kind of like curling ribbon with scissors.
Clamp the iron on your hair. Turn it 90 degrees so it is perpendicular to the way you hair is suppossed to be. Hold tight and pull down slowly. You can also turn it 180 degrees or even 360 degrees but 90 degrees works for me.
