Possible To Develop Acid Reflux at 6 mos?

Emma has been spitting up soooo much in the past week or so. She burps at every feeding so I don't know what is going on. Some of it could be when she jams her fingers in her mouth from teething and gags herself , but other times she is just sitting there and sooo much comes out.

Well Noah was just diagnosed with it Wed. and he is 16 weeks( 4 months almost) ...so I think its possible.

He never EVER spit up until about 3 weeks ago. Then it started and is every feeding, a little bit comes out 1-3 times after each bottle.

Did the doctor switch formulas? Or is it something you just deal with?

Could it be from cereal??

Is that even possible?/

She started him on Zantac...twice a day.

Today was the 1st time he took it and he actually already spit up about 50% less today. Not sure if its coincidence or not yet.

I dunno..she wasn't spitting up like this before though when she was eating cereal. BUT, she's been eating applesauce this whole week so maybe it's too acidic? I did give her bananas tonight though and she still spit up a ton, maybe I will just do a bottle and no solids tomorrow and see what happens.

Peaches made Christopher spit upChat Icon That maybe it then.

You could always just try the Target Gentlease, but I doubt that it would be the formula at this point, KWIM?

Yeah that's what I was thinking too. I'll just lay off the fruits and see how it goes! Chat Icon
