Possibly dumbest q ever but in addition to bathing suits do i have to buy ds waterproof diapers or does he just wear a regular one?
Like does he need a waterproof diaper cover thing over the suit? TIA!

They have diapers for the pool - Splashers (Pampers) or the ones made by Huggies.

I have bathing suits that have elastic in the legs and a plastic material in the bottom to guard against floaters in the pool. They are the best kind to get (of course they are NOT diapers so you cant dress the baby in a suit and drag them out for a few hours without fear of an accident )

We got the Huggies swim diapers... and then put DS bathing suit over them.
You have to change them once you get out of the water. Keep in mind that the swim diapers are not as absorbant as regular diapers (that's why you use them in the water so they don't get all big and huge from soaking up everything!)... so I don't keep him in the swim diaper unless he's going in the water... they leak much faster if out of the water than regular diapers.... make sense???

regular diapers absorb so much that they end up weighing 10 pounds when they get out of the water.
We use the Huggies Little Swimmers.

I bought the huggies littl swimmers ones and just put under bathingsuit bottom.

You need swimmies -you can get them in the store pampers and huggies sell them or a swim diaper- just a warning - they don't hold in urine - so you will need to switch them into a regular diaper after they swim.
Not a dumb question at all I just asked this the other day!
