Re: post partum weight
I'm about 10 lbs from my pre-pregnancy weight (at about 7 weeks pp) but I never really watch the scale - I care more about how I look in the mirror and how my clothes fit. I can't fit into my pre-PG clothes yet, but I'm getting there!

Re: post partum weight
it slowly came off for me...
by 6 months I was at the weight I was happy with (I had lost 8 pounds about 8 months before my BFP)
and by 9 months I am actually 2 pounds under what I was when I got my BFP...
all I can say I did was be a working mom that runs for the train every day...
ETA: I only weighed myself 5 times in that span...when I visit my Dad at my 6 week PP and at my annual a few weeks ago...I just go by what my clothes look like on me

I am still about 8lbs over my pre-pregnancy weight. Alex is 15 months. I don't think I am going to lose it.

Re: post partum weight
I know I'm only 2 weeks pp, but I am already so depressed over what I look like. I'm sure I'm still swollen in my mid section from the c-section, but still. I have nothing to wear, and I hope to god that I am able to lose this weight soon

Re: post partum weight
I gained 30lbs during PG, and at my 8 week checkup, I was 3 lbs below my pre-PG weight!!
Thank you BF Gods!!! I just think -- if I had been able to "diet" and eat lots of salads, which I didn't because of the BFing, I could have lost alot more. I still have a long way to go, as I was much heavier before I got PG than I have ever been. But, this is a start.

Re: post partum weight
I lost about 25 pounds the first two weeks. Then the remaining 25 slowly came off and I was back to normal at 8 months post partum. Now, a year later, I'm 15 pounds under my pre pregnancy weight.

But thank goodness for BF'ing, i have lost about 1-2lbs a week for the last 2 weeks without doing a damn thing

4.5 years & counting. Ok I'm cheating. I lost all of the weight about 6 weeks after Maddie & gained it plus more once I stopped BF'ing.

Re: post partum weight
I would say by 3 months I was at my pre-pregnancy weight for sure...but not my pre-preggo body (in a few weeks - I was about 5-8 lbs from that point). By 6-9 months - I was probably 3-4lbs under that at the weight /number I like to be at but still not finding my body back to normal which was very frustrating. I think it took me a full year to feel better in my body. Although at 16 months I feel like I still have some left over stretched skin in the lower belly that I never had before and love to complain about esp since it is bathing suit season!

Re: post partum weight
I guess I'm lucky - I lost all the weight by 4 months. But, everything is redistributed differently so nothing fits me like it used to. It's weird - I lost weight on top - my chest, stomach and waist is much smaller, but I definitely gained some on my bottom half

Re: post partum weight
At 5 months pp, I was at my pre pregnancy weight. At almost 7 months pp - I'm actually skinnier than I was. Not good at all....
