Post-wedding thank you cards
My wedding was just under a year ago & things have happened & the last person I have yet to send a thank you card to was my officiant.
Do you think it is insulting if I sent him one this week? Should I apologize for not sending it sooner in my card?

If you feel like you need to send them a TY send it.
I, personally wouldn't, but that's just me.
If you do send it, I think you could leave off apologizing for the delay.

Re: Post-wedding thank you cards
at this point, i wouldn't send it. he has probably forgotten about it. just my opinion. if it's gonna upset you though, not to send it...then send one.

ditto
i highly doubt the officiant is upset about not receiving a thank you....the check you paid them with was TY enough i'm sure.

Re: Post-wedding thank you cards
I would really like to send it because he was wonderful during my ceremony & everything leading up to it & would like him to baptize my baby when the time comes.
I think I may send it even though I feel bad that it's been so long.

if you feel it's necessary then definitely send it. I just believe he has forgotten about it. Now, this is also coming from someone who was married by an officiant that called her her the wrong name. YUP...it happened...I was up there and they said here we have Richard and Margaret (btw. MY NAME IS NOT MARGARET) funny now...not then....so I didn't and wouldn't send a thank you
