Apple muffins:
2 cups Bisquick 1 egg 1 cup diced apples (I use 1/2 of a 21 oz jar apple filling just bc I had it and it came out fine) 2 oz vegetable oil
Mix together (if its still dry, add more apple filling)
Cook for 20 min at 400 degrees. This makes roughly 12 muffins.

Apple French Toast
6 tablespoons butter or margarine 1 1/2 cups packed brown sugar - (You can use less) 3-4 Apples - I use Granny Smith or a combination, pealed, pared and sliced Craisins or raisins 1 loaf French or Italian Bread, cut crosswise into 1 inch thick slices 6 large eggs 2 cups milk 2 teaspoons vanilla extract 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon 1/2 cup sliced almonds or coarsely chopped walnuts or pecans
1. In microwave safe small bowl, heat butter in microwave on High 1 minute or until melted. Stir sugar into butter until moistened. With fingertips, press sugar mixture onto bottom of 13" by 9" glass baking dish. (It's OK if mixture does not cover bottom.) Place apples over sugar mixture. Sprinkle with Craisins or raisins. Top with bread slices, cut sides down. 2. In medium bowl, with whisk, beat eggs; whisk in milk, vanilla, and cinnamon. Slowly pour milk mixture over bread; press bread down to absorb egg mixture. Sprinkle with nuts. Cover with foil and refrigerate at least 2 hours or overnight. 3. Heat oven to 350 degrees. Bake 45 to 50 minutes or until knife inserted in center comes out clean. You can take off the foil the last 10 minutes of heating. I usually leave it on to keep the bread from drying out. Let stand 10 minutes before serving.
