~Please Crosspost widely on Long Island~
Rabbit Rescue & Rehab, the NYC Chapter of the House Rabbit Society,
has rescued 35 unwanted, abused, or neglected rabbits on Long Island
and is in great need for shelter to temporarily house them. Space
such as a garage will suffice.
The bunnies, primarily lop-eared rabbits, will be in cages and
cared for 1-2 times per day by a volunteer who would need access to
the space. The time period is for an estimated 1-2 months, but
hopefully shorter when the organization is able to adopt the rabbits
out to loving homes or fosterers. Space for some of the rabbits is
also welcome if you have limited room.

Please forward this e-mail to anyone you know on Long Island. You
never know who loves rabbits, may be able to help, or knows someone
who can!
