Pottery barn Furniture -Yay or Nay?

I saw a bunk bed that I really like in their catalog for my boys but I'm not sure if it's worth it. I've order things over the years from PB or PBK with mixed feelings. Sometimes it's been great and I've loved the item, other times I've felt it wasn't as good as I hoped it would be (quality-wise) They've always made good on any issues I've had so their customer service has always been a positive. But I've never ordered furniture from them and am looking for feedback.

TIA

Love the stuff but I think it's overpriced. Have you looked at the outlet in Riverhead?

Love the stuff, but its out of my budget. For smaller things, Target has some decent knock-offs. Not sure about beds though.

That's my feeling too.

That said, I just ordered a bookrack from PBK - it was exactly what I wanted/needed and it was the only place carrying it. Shipping charges, special handling fees and tax added $70 to the order Chat Icon Hopefully it will be worth it.

I have been pleased with the quality from Crate & Barrel...as another option.

It is overpriced, but I love my PB furniture. I have 3 dressers from them and I think the quality is excellent and so is the delivery and customer service. We went to many, many furniture store when we were looking, and they had the only pieces both DH and I could agree on, so we got them.

I also have one piece from Crate and Barrel and I would say the same things about them.

We just gave away a chenille couch that we bought from them about 6 years ago. The piping in the cushions were my only complaint - they cracked and pushed through the fabric.

I had this experience a few months back. But I have to say, PB has great ideas and inspiration.

quality is sub-par and overpriced. not to mention the crazy shipping charges and processing surcharges.

EA has great quality furniture and the prices are IMO, decent. DH has great pieces too but a little pricey.

I feel like I can get the same stuff for half the price at Pier One.

Re: Pottery barn Furniture -Yay or Nay?

Thanks for the input...I've been looking around on line more and found a piece I like from La-Z-Boy Kidz, it's only $100 less but you can get it in many places and free shipping from most. The shipping would be $150 from PBK.

My bedroom furniture and my DS's nursery furniture are from PB and PBK - so far I love it!

I've only purchased furniture from the outlet...their regular priced stuff is too pricey for the quality IMO.

I have an armoire from them and think it's excellent quality. I have had one or two issues with the finish on it but other than that, it's great. It weighs a ton!
