RECALL NOTICE


Dear Pottery Barn Kids customer:

Our records show that you purchased the Pottery Barn Kids Lullaby Crib Mattress ($149, item number 8098006) between July 1, 2006 and March 23, 2008. Due to our concern for your child's safety, we must warn you of a potential hazard in the use of this product.

Simmons Mattress Company, the mattress manufacturer, is conducting a voluntarily recall because some of the mattresses may measure smaller than the 27 ¼ inch required minimum width for crib mattresses, creating a gap between the mattress and crib side rails, posing a potential entrapment hazard to infants.

How to Determining if your mattress is part of the recall:
Please inspect your crib mattress immediately. Remove all outer coverings and place the mattress on floor. Using a reliable measuring device, such as a yard stick or tape measure, measure the mattress width near the middle, from the outside edge of the tape binding to the opposite side of the mattress. If your mattress measures less than 27 ¼ inches, please immediately contact Simmons Kids at (800) 810-8611 or www.simmonskids.com to receive a free replacement mattress.
