Pottery Barn Kids...I wish ADDED PIC BELOW
I registered there too! My mom already did my shower invites so I can't  But I looooove their stuff..I got the catalog today. Their bedding is so nice...it looks like such good quality and seems very soft. Grr..

A friend of mine added a small registry at another store afterwards and put a little note in her BRU registry (where they let you add a note/comment) that they were also registered at such and such. Plus you can tell your mom and she can get a little word of mouth going when people call to RSVP. Guests sometimes ask for any gift suggestions in conversation.

I really think I like their bedding better..I even dreamed about it last night

i didnt register for DS bedding bc I didnt get it from BRU or BBB (where i registered), but i told my mother which set i wanted and she passed word along to my grandmother and sister and they all got me pieces from the set.

I didn't think it was tacky when she mentioned it to me and if I saw it on a registry that I was buying from, I would not think it was tacky. I thought it was a good idea and option should I have found something in another store.
Choose tactful wording as if your shower hostess wrote it...
Casey also has a small registry at PotteryBarnKids.com for baby's crib bedding. Short, sweet and simple.
That's not tacky, presumptuous or offensive at all.
There are some people, like a special Aunt or a group of cousins that may be hooked on getting you your bedding so they'll check it out! If I saw a note like that, I would.
I just added a note to my registry comment section stating that the shower is a surprise and something like if you are unable to attend and send a gift, please send c/o (my mom & address). The other day, I got a gift delivered from IL's friend. So I obviously know that invites are out. DH is Jewish and I know that 1. some Jewish people do not believe in baby showers and 2. they may not know it's a surprise. I'm not sure how my mom worded the invites but I just wanted to make sure no one sent a gift saying sorry I could not make it, we'll be in Paris the first week in June! I'm not a registry peeker and will not be opening any more boxes that get delivered here. I like surprises.
That's what the comment/note section is for! I say use it.

I really think I like their bedding better..I even dreamed about it last night
I know a few people who did that so they got the bedding they wanted. I don't think it's tacky.

You know another thing you can do if you did not flat out want to put the note of the registery... BRU has a section where you add in the nursery theme. So you can write, Pottery Barn Kids Monkey (whatever it's called). Make yourself a silent registry there and some people on their own will wander over there to see it and check if you have a registry.
There are ways to get the word out.

I completely changed my mind 
I found this one on BRU...although it does not have my beloved monkeys..it has 2 giraffes It's called Baby Noah Still has the brown & blue I was looking for.

Love this bedding - my girlfriend, who used to work for PBK, has the monkey bedding on her son's crib. I think it looks great - I always love their color palettes and the monkeys are super cute. Have you seen the Monkey stroller blanket?

It's worth registering if you're considering buying anything there.
I register for things I want to buy all of the time. After the event (which is anything from a random holiday I pick to a birthday), they send you a discount on items on your registry.
