POTTY TRAINING????
I need help..we just adopted a puppy who is 15 weeks old..I always had dogs as a child, but never had to potty train them, my parents always did that. Now Im reading everything I can online and of course, everything says something different. Does anyone have and tried and true advice? We just adore this little guy and want him to be a happy puppy. Thanks so much in advance!

We're doing crate training and this has been helping us with our puppy's potty training.
You have to watch your dog - if they start to sniff, take them out right away. Sometimes people put bells by their back door, and they ring it everytime they take the dog out, so the dog associates the ringing bell to mean they go out.
Every time the dog eats/drinks water, watch the clock for 15 - 20 minutes and then take the dog out. They'll start to asssociate that after they eat they need to go out.
Just take it one step at a time with them and be patient. They'll have accidents, but they'll learn. When the dog starts to go in the house, pick them up and take them right outside. so they learn where it's appropriate to go.
And buy some Nature's Miracle to use on places in the house the dog does have accidents.
FM me if you want any advice. We're going through this training as we speak with our 8 week old puppy.

GREAT!!!!! Thanks....Sebastian is a black husky mix...the sweetest little baby. His birthday is St. Patricks day..which happens to be my favorite holiday 
I do appreciate any advice however...out of men in this house..he follows me around, which I love...I just wnat to make sure he is being properly trained. Thanks again everyone
