potty training at 17 months?
This past weekend DS who is 17 months told us two separate times when he had to go poopies. He said "poo" and touched his butt. I took him in to change his diaper and there was nothing, but he went a few minutes / 1/2 hour later. Is it time to start potty trining?? I am so unprepared for this!

To me, thats really early. If he is ready, go for it. But I definitly wouldn't push it because it could do more damage in the long run.

Go for it. Westarted DS at 13 months he does pee pee but not poo on potty yet. We are still working on that.
