Potty training... Late
Ugh! DS is 3.5. He will be 4 the end of May. I feel like he's the last kid to be potty trained. Well, he's actually not potty trained yet. The boy can still sit in a wet or poopy diaper and have no issue. I try bribing and everything. Doesn't seem to work. Food doesn't really work bc he hardy eats.
Doesn't still get new toys either. He will go run to the potty when he had no bottoms on. He has had accidents too, but the boy needs to have no pants and I have to ask and bribe every 5 mins. If I put underwear on he goes. It's like if he feels something on his bottoms he feels fine to pee. I have tried letting him sit in it where it pretty much hangs off the butt and he's walking with a load... Nope, does not bother him. He does know the sensation bc as I said if he has no bottoms on he will run to go to the bathroom. He has issues trying to pull his bottoms down so I always chase after him to help pull down his underwear ( if I'm training with underwear) Any help or advise? Thanks

Re: Potty training... Late
The three day potty training program worked for my DS. He also was over three, didn't seem to be particularly bothered by wet pants and I thought for sure it wouldn't work, but it did. Good luck!

Totally agree! It worked so good. My DS is super stubborn and I thought for sure it would never work for him but it really did. You have to stay strong and deal with lots of accidents especially at night. I lucked out and DS has never had a #2 accident. I also never put pull ups on him even at night. I dealt with the wet sheets until he got the hang of it. So glad I did, because he hasn't had an accident in a long time. I have friends who kids are potty trained but they use Pull ups at night because they where tired of changing sheets. Well months later they are still using pull ups. Good luck!! Remember to buy lots of underwear, have a sticker chart and lots of treats and toys.
