Potty-Training-uggh!!

My son just started potting training within the last month and it was going well in the beginning, not many accidents but now he is afraid to go. Probably because he waits until the last second and pees on himself and his shoes.
Now he wants his diaper back on and it is a battle to get him on the toilet.

Has anyone been through this?? My dd was much easier and I really thought he was doing well.

Thanks.

Re: Potty-Training-uggh!!

We had the same problem with DS. Eventually, we let him run around outside naked (we live pretty far off the street...I am generally not a big fan of naked children outside) and that way, when he peed on the grass, we complimented him. He didn't even know it was an accident. It took until his 3rd birthday to be completely trained, and we always had to keep a potty seat in the car "just in case." Good luck!
