power outage
has anyone everhad a power outage where only half of the house has no power and the other half does? If so what cause's the power to do that? This is what is happening to us now!! now i guess we will call LILCO .

Did you blow any breakers? Were you running two big things at once like a drier and a microwave? Has it happened before?

No that's the weird thing.... we just found out that a neighbor of our's is having the same problem, so we think it's on lilco's part, Dh just called them so hopefully they will be fixing it soon.

Sounds like a Lilco issue especially since the neighbor is having the same problem.

Sounds like you lost one phase of your power. The problem is either your main breaker which controls both phases or you have lost a phase of power coming into your house. You will need an electrician to fix this problem.
