Power Outages.....

Supposedly Rte 347 and parts of the neighborhoods north of 347 in Three Village are without power.

My ILs called to state they have no power and the state troppers are guiding traffic on rte 347.

my friend in BK said on FB he has no power- he lives right where I work so I hope it doesnt get worse!!

Im deathly afraid of power outages after that weeklong power outage we had in queens a few years back. that really suckeddd!!!!

We lost power here in Huntington Village about an hour and a half ago. I'm pretty sure we're still using our generator and the power hasn't come back on yet.

That would explain the helicopter that was flying low by my office before. Probably a news chopper.

Was driving down 347 in the setuaket/PJ area at like 4:00 and the lights were all out in one area.

My next door neighbor has no power still from last night. I do. We are on different transformers.

They have a pool which they have been in on and off.

I've offered to have them over, but they declined.

does anyone feel like they are getting less electricity? We have been blowing one circuit constantly...and of course it's the one that is attached to our garage door, so we have to figure out how to manually override the automatic door opener!


time to upgrade to 220 I guess!

I just ran over to Old Navy and Bath&Body Works in Babylon and in Old Navy, they had no A/C and the lights were dim.

My debit card took forever to go through in B&B, and when it finally did, it wouldn't!

Had to hit the credit card feature. Lady said this has been happening with every customer because of the power.

I heard on the news that in many areas, the power companies are limiting the amount of power they are offering so we don't have a major blackout.

I would cry if I lost power. I have to deal all day with out it, no way would I be happy at home too.

My Mom and brother in Levittown had no power from 640pm-4am. Just 23 houses were affected by him. The house on one side of him had power and all the houses across the street. A transformer down the street blew.. Happens to them 2-3 time a year.

My friend in lake grove has none! They are staying w her mom now bc they have a newborn!

Power went out again at my Mom's in Levittown... They are coming to stay with us tonight..
