Agreed... I'd take it easy on working out though for a few weeks....

I learned that one the hard way... I started working out too early and one of my stitches popped

Re: PP Dieting
Thank you! It was kind of a silly question, which I prob knew the answer to already, but that book what to expect...said not to start for 6 weeks, I really hate that book, I don't know why i still read it..
I am feeling such a blob, I am 31w3d, and gaining like 2-3 lbs a week I don't understand why! I don't eat bad at all! I already gained at least 30 lbs. I am getting the point where I want my body back, and to be selfish and take care of me. Am I horrible for feeling that way?

Re: PP Dieting
Nope, not horrible at all! I felt the same way you did. I wanted that baby out and I wanted to be back to my original size. After you give birth and a few months afterwards, don't beat yourself up if you're not back to your preprenancy weight. It took 9 months to put it on and it should take 9 months to get back to normal again. Some women are different...they may take longer and some take a shorter time. It took me 6 months to get back into my regular shape, but I wasn't eating a lot and not having a healthy diet....not good. Plus I also had a personal trainer for a month to assist me with the weight loss.

Re: PP Dieting
Sweetness - Weight Watchers has a program for breastfeeding moms. You get more points and they encourage healthy eating.
I plan on doing this as soon as my Dr. gives me the OK.
From the WW website: "Can I attend Weight Watchers Meetings if I am breastfeeding?" Weight Watchers Meetings provide a special weight loss plan created specifically for the needs of nursing mothers: the New Mothers Points System, designed with you and your baby in mind. "

Thank you, makes me feel better I am not alone! Being hard on myself is something i do best. I just have to remember 9 months on 9 months off, but I like to be an overacheiver. The summer is going to be sooo hard! I am soo not wearing shorts! I can't wait to be a mom, but I am about done being pg.

Re: PP Dieting
At least you will have warm weather - you can go for walks with the baby. I feel pretty trapped in these cold months!

I wore my maternity capri's for 3 months afterwards...the weight will come off quickly...you'll see!
