PPD/Anxiety
I am just wondering how many other new moms go through this.
For me the anxiety was the worst. It finally get better, but I am sad that I felt like this for the first 2 months.
I loved Gavin, I knew that, but I was so anxious and sleep deprived.
For those of you who went through this, what did you do to get yourself back on track, to feel like your normal self?

Re: PPD/Anxiety
I can 100% relate In my case I felt extremely anxious the first 3-4 weeks, BFing was a BIG challenge and I started to really feel burned out from it, on top of the sleep deprivation, and healing from the c-sec. I definitely don't have PPD, just intense anxiety, but I feel WAY better now that DS is doing well and gaining weight, and I'm sleeping just a tad more at night now :). Frankly the best support I get is here on LIF from the mommies and IRL from mommy friends, they seem to help calm me when nothing else does :). Sadly DH is no help really, I love the man to death but he really has no way to know what's normal/not normal with either me or our DS! :)
DONT beat yourself up, your little guy is GORGEOUS and he seems to be doing great, so you have NOTHING to worry about on that front. Of course if you think PPD is a possibility, why not talk to your doctor, he/she can either set your mind at ease or give you a referral if that seems appropriate?
