Prayers please- monoamniotic
Oh lord. I never ask for prayers, but we just got back from our 8 week sono, found out were having twins. This is my 3rd pregnancy which means 4 kids. It all sounded exciting until we heard that they may be monoamniotic, that they share one sac. The outcome looks grim if that is the case. We are going to a specialst to serif they can find the separation. I believe in positive thinking, and guess I'm just asking for all the postive vibes we can get. So nervous...

Prayers please- monoamniotic
I have heard about this a few times on another chat group I am part of. In each case the seperation was found as the pregnancy progressed. It is probably to early to see it. Best Wishes!!

Prayers please- monoamniotic
i was in the same exact situation as you! they told me they could not find a membrane between the two babies. best advice i got was NOT go crazy and research/google until you have an answer bc you will drive yourself nuts and read so many horrible things. i cant remember exactly, but around 12 weeks my high risk doctor was able to find the membrane separating them. it can take a couple times till they see it as well.
sending prayers your way and hoping they find the membrane soon!! please send me a message if you need to bc i know exactly what you are going thru!!!!

Re: Prayers please- monoamniotic
They originally told me my girls were mono amniotic. But by 10 weeks they were able to identify the membrane dividing the sacs.
Hang in there. I believe 8 weeks is definitely a little early to be able to see the membrane.
