Pre-Eclampsia spin-off - ques about future pregnancies

I must say, I couldn't believe the amount of posters that shared the same experience! I was bedrested at 27 weeks and had an emergency c section at 35 weeks. It was such a nightmare!
Did any of you go on to have other normal pregnancies? Did you switch to a high risk obgyn? I have been thinking about this a lot lately because I know we definitely want to have one more child but I am SCARED to death!
(I was an extreme case and was in ICU for a full week after delivery and I'm STILL getting back to normal 7 months pp!)

Re: Pre-Eclampsia spin-off - ques about future pregnancies

I got sick with DS at about 25 weeks. I was put on strict left side only bed rest from week 32 until week 39 when I delivered him. With DS I lost vision, had a headache from week 25 until delivery, constant ms for 7 full months, and a number of other vision/head/back problems.

I was monitored very closely for DD. I only developed preeclampsia the morning I delivered her. I did not go to a different obgyn the second time, I stuck with the same one.
