Pre natal side effects?
I've been hearing different opinions about this.
I have my pre natals but I haven't started to take them yet. have any of you had any side effects like bloating, weight gain, etc?

I did in the beginning. They actually made me get sick. I was hospitalized twice because of it. Once they switched me I have had no symptoms. It is great

 OMG! you were hospitalized? do you mind me asking what brand of pre natals you were on at the time?

the only side-effects have been positive - my nails grow super-fast and my hair seems shinier and smoother. I have not had any stomach issues, but I always take my pre-natals right after dinner.

i've been taking pre natals since last tuesday and every day i've felt naucious...but then i was really sick yesterday so maybe all week i was coming down w/ something..i dunno... feeling naucious today too
so i have no idea if its the prenatals or not
i stopped taking them after just about 2 weeks..was naucious all day every day... today is day 2 not being on them and i feel fine..

I didn't start taking prenatals until I got my BFP and the only side effect was horrible constipation at first. It started about a week after I started taking them and lasted a few days. Since then it hasn't been too bad.

When I started TTC I took CVS OTC prenatals and they had no effect on me. Once I got my BFP the doctor put me on a RX (Prenate Elite) those gave me a little constipation at first, but after a week or so my body adjusted and now I'm fine!

I was taking prescription pre-natals and they made me super nauseous...
Now I take the GNC ones and have side effects at all.

I got a really really bad stomach from it. So they tried all different ones on me, and I now take Flintstones and a folic.

make sure you take them with food. I took mine in the morning on an empty tummy and got sick. I now take them at night with dinner and no problems.

thanks ladies! 
I bought 800 mg folic acid over the weekend and I'm going to start taking it, tonight in fact! 
maybe I'll save the RX pre-natals for when I do get a BFP
