Re: Pre-Natal Yoga

I have been taking yoga with Leslie at Planting Fields and she told me about an 8 week prenatal series at her studio. I plan on taking it, it is on Tuesday evenings. I really like Leslie and highly recommend her.

I guess you are in Nassau, so I don't know of any centers, but I HIGHLY recommend it. It is so good for stretching, relaxing, and breathing...I love it!! I just bought the Crunch Yoga Mama DVD, its pretty good.

Re: Pre-Natal Yoga

I do videos - I have Fit Mama which is my favorite and YogaMama, which is good but the instructor on the video gets annoying pretty quickly.

are you talking about harmony yoga (or something like that)? they offer it at wed @ 6 pm and sunday morning not sure of the time. i keep saying im going to go, but i never get myself there...i wish they had a better schedule. i dont know what i did with their number, but when i called them for info they told me i needed a dr's note to take the class.

im very interested in hearing about other places that offer it as well so looking forward to more responses!!!

the place i called was $20 for a single session and $128 for 8 sessions...most places are about that.
they also told me the earlier in your pregnancy you start the better.

Re: Pre-Natal Yoga

Lisa I know exactly where you are talking about -- around the corner from my cousin. I wonder if she and your mom are neighbors???

I am going to call tomorrow - it's late in my pregnancy but...better late than never right??
