Pre-Op testing for c-section?

My c-section is supposedly Wed.

When would the pre-op test be done? Is Tuesday too late or will they make it happen?

What will be involved in the testing?

I didn't hear from doc's office or hospital Friday so I feel like I'm in the dark.

My doc told me to call him after my 3:30 peri-natologist appt tomorrow... but won't that be too late to set up?

UPDATE: I got a call this morning at 8:30am to come in for pre-surgical testing today! I guess this is really happening!!!

Mine was the day before. They took blood. That was it. And I filled out some forms.

My pre-op testing was scheduled by my doctor at the same time my C-section was....

BOth my c/s were at st catherines.

with my 1st i only scheduled the c/s 2 days prior so my pre surg was 24 hours before (maybe even less).

With my 2nd, the hospital called me maybe a week prior to schedule my pre surgical testing. I think I had it 1 or 2 days prior to my c/s

Whats involved:
- paper work
- answer a ton of questions
- pee in a cup, blood work, BP

Thats about it.

My second was moved up unexpectedly, so I just went in a little earlier. Mine is next week...they haven't said anything to me yet

Mine was supposed to be the morning of but i went into labor early so as soon as I got there when my water broke, they did the testing then.

I just got my call this morning to come in today for pre-surgical testing.

It seems more real now!!
