pre-paid debit card recommendation
i'll be going away, this weekend. i don't want to leave the "in case of emergency" money for DS in cash. which pre-paid debit card would you recommend?

if you have AAA, you can get from them and you can refill them if you need to.
they are instead of travelers checks and can be replaced if lost.
we used those when we went to disney a few years ago.

I got a Visa and Amex ones recently. They both worked well with no issues.

You can also ask at your bank. A lot of banks will provide them, too.
If you get a prepaid Visa or Amex (especially Amex) make sure he knows exactly how much is on there. When I have used them before, I've sometimes had to tell the cashier how much $$ was on the prepaid card.

If you have a TD bank account... get a TD "Gift" Card... no fees and its just like a credit Card...
