Pre Schools in Kings Park Area
Does anyone send their child to Pre School in the Kings Park area? If so, who do you use? Do you know how much it costs, etc. TIA

Re: Pre Schools in Kings Park Area
I live in Smithtown and am pretty familiar with the local pre schools. In Kings Park proper the primary provider is New Discovery. They are family run, been there forever, have very low turnover, have extended hours for families that need it and follow the school district's calendar. I know many people who have used them and been happy.
In addition, there is a church run program on Main Street at Abiding Presence. I hear that fills up quickly and only know one person who used them (she was happy).
There is also a pre school in the Jewish Center call Prime Time which, is non-sectarian, as far as I know. Also only know one person who used them and she was happy.
With regard to price the church/temple programs are always cheaper. New Discovery is about average, my guess would be three mornings ( 9-12) runs 300 or so.
For my older daughter she was in Tutor Time on Landing Avenue and than moved to Ivy League. I was happy with both programs although Ivy League IMO is expensive for what it is.
My younger daughter, who just turned 4, is in a Montessori Program, in Commack. She goes two full days and two mini days and it runs 725.00 per month.
