Precooked Ham
How long do you have to cook a precooked ham for? I mean, I know its cooked but how long does it take to warm without drying out?
I have an 8 lb half-ham.
This is my first time making one!

Re: Precooked Ham
I took it out of the fridge about 45 mins/an hour before cooking it, so it starts at room temp. Then I put it in the oven wrapped in tin foil at 200 degrees for a couple of hours. It didn't dry out or anything, and I just left it in until shortly before everything else was ready to serve.
Or, if it's pre-sliced, yo can slice it first, put it in the oven for about an hour and heat it up that way (same temp). I did this on Christmas Eve and it worked out perfectly.
