Preggo Mommies- can your child get the swine flu nasal spray?
Just wondering- my DD's pediatrician is offering swine flu nasal spray in a limited quantity. Since it is a live vaccine, I know pregnant women can't get it. Does anyone know if it is ok for your child to get the live vaccine since we're in such close contact? This is assuming I can get her an appointment (the phones are going to be ringing off hte hook the moment the appointment line opens tomorrow).

I think children under 5 are not eligible for the nasal version....

My ped's office said for kids age 2 and up, the nasal spray is fine (but didn't mention what if their mother is pregnant  )

My DD is 2 and I am PG and she got the nasal vaccine.
My ped knew I was pregnant too. Never mentioned a risk at all.
