Re: Preggo moms
I'm all messed up this time, I have bad mood swings, I'm so tired all the time, I feel sick if I don't eat, I don't have the patients like I use to, Julia is always all over the place and its hard to run after her like I use to, I really can't wait to have this baby and be done!
Sorry I sound so negiitve but my 1st trimesters have been horrible, and I don't like how I feel. I hope it starts to get better soon.

Re: Preggo moms
never had MS, but whenever she napped...I did too, or at least rested.
There were often late afternoons where she watched tv and I nodded off while watching Noggin with her for a few minutes. I'd also TiVo her fave shows and let her watch in our bed while I dozed off for a quick power nap.
I also invested in anything that made my life easier....scrubbing bubbles shower cleaner, swiffer vac, and cooked big and froze leftovers (still do it!)

I'm only 7 weeks and the MS started last week. I didn't have it with DC #1 so I don't even know how to deal with it. I just hope it ends soon. I feel bad for DC because I'm so boring and blah lately!!!
ETA I have to cook dinner now and it's turning my tummy. Even feeding the baby kills me....hopefully it ends soon!

Re: Preggo moms
feel better. the smell of pork and ground beef still makes me sick. i cannot take certain foods. and its amazing how well you can smell now. as long as you give youself the proper rest and eat small meals you should be fine.

Re: Preggo moms
I was napping whenever he would nap and as soon as he went to bed I would be passed out on the couch! The tiredness has gotten better, but I still fall asleep very early. When my MS was bad, unfortunately my DS wasn't eating the best foods, but I just couldn't bring myself to cook much. I still have a lot of food aversions especially to poultry. He's eaten more chicken nuggets than I would like, but what can you do. I also would give him stuff like soup and gerber graduate meals. Feel better!
