Preggos who went to Bobby's Burger Palace - updated with reviews!
Since all you preggos have been hitting up Bobby's Burger Palace, I was thinking of trying it out. But...I read that he only has them cook the burgers MEDIUM. Seems you have no choice?
I HATE MEDIUM burgers. I prefer medium-well or well.
So how was your burger cooked? How pink was it inside and could you request it cooked a certain way?
Update on bottom post.

I had a turkey burger, so it was well done.

Ditto -
we just happened to go there last week - and I was disappointed by the decor and the presentation (I guess you don't get an iron chef for under $10) but I have to admit... our burgers were really good

I went today and the burger was cooked perfectly (really more like well done but not dry). Thanks ladies!

I didn't request it a certain way, and it came our medium, which is how I like it anyhow
I'm sure you could request it to be cooked a bit longer.....

Re: Preggos who went to Bobby's Burger Palace - how was your burger cooked?
according to what I read online ... all they do is Medium.. nothing rarer..
I got the classic cheese burger
Honestly.. It wasn't worth what we paid.
Onion rings were good
Milkshake was tasty, but rather small (JMHO)
Still for me and my hubby it was over $30 for two burgers, two onion rings, two shakes.
He LOVED his.. (LA Burger)
The wait was insane.. they had some problem with the kitchen.. they got backed up and refused to let anyone else order until they caught up. So they started handing out chips to those waiting in line, and the line went out the door.
I took a seat to wait for my hubby but I was told you're not allowed to do that. I just looked at them like "im way too pregnant to wait that long"
so after 20mins or so to wait to put our order in, our food came pretty quickly. There's really no 'wait staff' so you have to wave them down if you want more napkins or anything special (my hubby forgot to get my mayo)
Later.. i got really sick on this stuff. My tummy did NOT enjoy the meal at all and that was a shame.
Still, for my bang for a buck, I'd rather go to a sit down Johnny Rockets.. but then again.. that's JMHO
I give the food a B- I give the cost a C I give the environment a C (not enough seats) I give the service a C
Would we go again.. ? Yeah, hubby really loved his burger. I am willing to give it another try but I wont order my own side (fries/ring) too much for me to handle.

I agree on many aspects. The system they have is terrible. You could not tell where the line was in the front, they only had one person taking orders, people who had larger groups had a hard time sitting. And yes, i saw that they asked people to leave the tables if they were sitting waiting for the family members who placed their orders. I find that a big turn off and if I was that person waiting, it would have annoyed me. When you have a larger party, you need a table. Overall, it's really not an ideal place to go with more than 4 people and you have to expect if you go with more than 2 people, you may not even be able to all sit together.
The lady brought us half of our food, then never brought the other half. I saw it sitting waiting to be picked up. My DH had to go get it, even still, the girl up there (who was doing nothing) was saying it wasn't his (it was) yet it still sat there. He pretty much had to demand she give it to him b/c it was def ours and regardless it was sitting there (just fries and an Onion ring). No one gave us napkins, we had to go get them.
But for me, I would go for the burgers (we had the crunch burgers) and fries. They were really good. DH wanted a shake but didn't like that they bring it out first, so we didn't get that.
The tables and set up are really odd, and the system was really really terrible. Bobby Flay better get his act together on it, b/c he knows how to judge the contestants in the "Next Food Network Star" so now I am judging him and I say he better shape up. Otherwise, many people won't go back there.

We went last night and the wait was out the door. Wound up at John Harvards instead
