pregnancy beauty products
SInce I got the BFP last week, I am trying to stay away from my reular products. Does anyone use maternity geared products.
I bought bella b bright eye cream, I know they have alot of other stuff, but I'm not sure what's best
Any products raves?

just be careful when switching any body products when you are pg...I switched to organic skincare and when I started it my face was red and swollen for 4 days! Your skin is super sensitive so be extra careful. From now on I only use cetaphil.

I haven't changed my skin care routine. I've only added a higher SPF sunscreen to my face everyday.

I switched to more organic stuff (burts bees mainly, but also a bit of origins for special occassions, which must be less natural  ) years ago.....
There are so many super bad chemicals in most US make-up... a lot of it is even illegal to sell in the EU becuase they had the sense to ban a lot of these compounds.
For pregnancy, I DID modify a few things. I generally don't perspire or smell throughout the course of the day, so I now don't wear anti-perspirant unless its hideously hot like today. The aluminum in all anti-perspirants can't be good for baby.... But the main thing I stopped altogether was doing my nails... the toluene, acetone, ethyl acetate, and other organics DEFINITELY can pass through the skin and be absorbed into the blood.... I decided that my revlon red toes, while I love them dearly, is not worth the risk....

I use organic now but when I was PG with DS, I eliminated all acne products and self tanners.
