Pregnancy Insanity!!!!
So I guess this is kind of funny but irritating all at the same time. Why are people obsessed with assuming the whole world is preggo?? I have been posting on Facebook about this insane abdominal pain that i've been having for weeks. Yesterday, I posted that I was having a great day "with the exception of the monster growing in my belly!!"
I was bombarded with 50 comments saying "Congratulations!!" 
Kill me now....

Do people really think you'd announce your pregnancy on FB by calling the baby the MONSTER growing in your belly?

yes, if ever you decide to have one, please announce it on LIF by saying that a monster is growing your belly and link this post

I can think of one who would refer to their baby as Demon Spawn!
I can *maybe* see how people would assume that. If I read that I think I would think "oh maybe she told people already and I missed it and this is her way of coming out?" or something like that.
But of course people will always assume it's about a baby. Even vague things people think you're having a baby.
I posted a few weeks back about how I had a "sh*t eating grin" and DH liked my status....a few hours later my sister IM'd me on FB and said "are you pregant!??!" I said "what the fluck are you talking about" and she said she saw my status, and my DH liked it, and her and her friend thought I was preggo.
Apparently having a sh*t eating grin means you are with child.

I was kinda thinking the same thing...I mean, I suppose saying you have a little monster growing inside of you wouldn't be the first choice of words an expectant mother might use but it's not completely out of the realm of possibility.
I think the whole "growing in my belly" part of the phrase is what caught people's attention and I guess they based their assumptions off that.
FTR, I think I would refer to my unborn child as the "monster growing inside of me" which maybe further proves I'm really more cut out to be an aunt than a mom!

You girls are cute. Yea, I guess I can kind of see it too now. I think I just expected that since everyone on my FB is actually people I know, then they would know that i'm having stomach problems LOL It was pretty funny.
PS - Melissa, I thought that too!!!!!!!! I just didn't want to say anything
