Pregnancy symptoms post partum
I swear if I didn't know any better I would think I was pregnant again. I am 5 1/2 weeks post partum and for the past 2 or 3 weeks I have been having MAJOR cravings, I am exhausted after doing very little (but I chalk that up to being a new mommy), I am having alot of discharge (TMI, sorry ) and I have been nauseous and today I actually threw up!! What the heck is going on here? Just hormones going nuts or do you think I should tell my OBGYN when I go for my 6 week checkup (i was going to blow it off, but now I am not so sure ) WDYT??

Then I think it is just your hormones. Maybe give your doctors office a call and let them know. Maybe they will see you sooner, to make sure all is ok Feel better soon!!

Your body has been through some "trauma" so the hormones out of whack, exhaustion is perfectly normal.
If there is no chance you're pregnant, I would say you need to take better care of yourself. While it's normal, a new mom tends to disregard her own body because she is focused on the baby. If you're nursing, you need to make sure you are eating & drinking enough for both of you.
Most of what you described can be a sign of dehydration, lack of nutrition, lack of sleep, anemia, etc. Mention it to your ob/gyn.

Tell your OB at your 6 week appt. There is a blood test they can do to make sure your hormones have dropped. For some women they don't go down as quick as they should...
