Pregnant ladies check in

I've seen some posters from this board on the pregnancy board and just wanted to wish you all a H & H 9 months and see how everyone is doing. I know how nerve wracking pregnancy after a loss can be so figured that I would check in with everyone. I'm 15 weeks and feeling good but still get a bit paranoid at times.

Re: Pregnant ladies check in

I got pregnant the first month trying after our loss. I am supposed to be about 7 weeks but very nervous because last week I measured 6w1d and a week later I only measured 6w3d. There was, however, a very strong heartbeat both times. I go back next week and hopefully there will be more growth. The waiting is the worst part.

Re: Pregnant ladies check in

To be honest I check on here all the time but was really reluctant to post my BFP as I didn't want to make anyone sadder than they already areChat Icon

So I had a loss last May - I had my D&C when I was supposed to have been 10 weeks but the baby stopped developing at 8 1/2 weeks. I am now 11 weeks along and its such a different experience this time around. I haven't written in a baby book yet as I did start to write the last time and now I feel too nervous to do it...I think in some small way I am still in denial...like I dont want to get attached to this baby in case something happens again. I dont know if I will be able to relax at any stage during this pregnancy.

I wish each and everyone of you peace while you wait for your BFP's and joy and happiness once those BFP's come and I know they will come.Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon

Re: Pregnant ladies check in

I had a miscarriage in March at 11 weeks. I am now 27 weeks pregnant with a baby girl. I will never stop being scared and I will never stop checking the toilet paper when I go to the bathroom. The mc has scarred me in a lot of ways and I'm hoping the next three months go very quickly.

I'm only 7 weeks and I'm taking it day by day. I won't know that everything is ok until my sonogram next Saturday. I'm working hard to stay optimistic! It's so hard after 2 losses.

I could have written this myself! I am actually 19.5 weeks along now and feel the exact same way. This is the first I am even admitting on LIF that I am pregnant.

My D&C was at the end of June at what should have been 10 weeks. I waited two cycles but then was concerned that I wasn't ovulating (charting, OPKs) so I actually made the switch and went to see an RE the next cycle since it took us nearly a year to get pregnant the first time due to thyroid issues and I didn't want to keep waiting. We developed a plan of action and ran a bunch of tests and then waited for me to get my next period to get started... but I never did! I had actually gotten pregnant on my own.

This pregnancy has been so different from the beginning though. My family and husband would laugh at me when I would say I felt better about this one because physically I felt terrible! The symptoms helped keep me sane.

But the concern and nerves never go away. My 20 week sono is on Tuesday and I am hoping that after that I finally start to relax and the excitement can outweigh the nerves. I have not written in a book or bought a baby item or announced on Facebook or anything like that. Now that I can feel the baby moving it helps, but then I over analyze the days I feel less movement - it never ends!

I wish all of you the best of luck and hope that everyone on here gets to experience a healthy pregnancy and bring home a happy, healthy baby soon. While I am trying to be positive and optimistic about this pregnancy, my due date from the first was still incredibly tough, and I think about that baby even more as this one grows. It never leaves us I guess, but I believe we all can and will move on to happy endings.

Same here...

I'm almost 24w and we still haven't told so many people...After our loss of Sarah, we had Katelyn last January and she is just a dream...so much fun. So I've gone through being pregnant once already after a loss. But, that doesn't make this time any easier. Sometimes, I actually feel more scared this time around.

I'm always checking in on this board to see how people are doing, but I've been very hesitant to post. But, I also know that seeing positive stories helped to give me hope, so I hope that it does the same for all of you.

same here as well. Unfortunately i have a looooong way to go, im only 5 1/2 weeks. I am petrified. So is dh. He started crying at the mere mention of going for a sonogram before the heartbeat should definitely be there Chat Icon we saw the heartbeat at 6 & 7 1/2 weeks last time before miscarrying at 9wks in the beginning of august. After seeing the heartbeat 2x, going in and not seeing it was traumatizing.
Im trying to be realistic and not allow myself to get excited but its hard not to get attached... but anxiety, stress, and worry consume me. So does hunger and exhaustion, which it seems a little early forChat Icon

I am 27 weeks right now, but I also never really post about it here for fear of upsetting anyone. But thank you for starting this thread bc I can see how similarly I feel to you girls. I still have the urge at times to POAS to make sure I am still pg. yes, I'm 27 weeks with a big old belly. It's irrational, but after my two losses this past year, though they were early, I take nothing for granted. it's been a really rough road, but I'm so thankful I am at this point.

I still check this board regularly and I wish everyone on here the best.

7 weeks. saw and heard the heartbeat.

I didn't get to enjoy the pregnancy with ds much cause I had 2 mc before him(one natural, the other a dnc)

Now that I saw & heard the hb on this one, and know I got through ds I am feeling alot more comfortable.

Re: Pregnant ladies check in

I'm at 20 weeks, after a missed mc last May at 12 weeks.

Even now, I'm still in hiding from most of my friends...I'm almost afraid of jinxing things or that something bad will happen the moment I tell everyone.

I worry every day and every little thing freaks me out. We have a doppler that I pull out at least 3-4 times a week to make sure that there's still a heartbeat.

I don't think the fear will ever go away and I feel robbed of the opportunity to ever enjoy a pregnancy now that I've experienced a loss.

Wishing lots of love and prayers to everyone here.

It was reading about others' rainbow babies that gave me hope to try again.

Re: Pregnant ladies check in

I had a loss 1 year ago after 5 months of trying. Last year was terrible as I had many complications after my d&c which included an infection, a blocked tube, surgery, more ttc then finding out my tub reblocked. I was a miserable mess but a tiny miracle happened and on January 31 we found out we were expecting again. I am 8 weeks and excited and nervous!!!!

Re: Pregnant ladies check in

I got pregnant 2 months after my loss in October from a fresh IVF cycle. I'm currently 14 weeks with a singleton, but I'm schedule for an amnio in 2 weeks because my NT scan results came back with a higher risk than I anticipated Chat Icon That combined with the fact that my sister's first baby died from having Trisomy 13 is making me very nervous, so I'm having the amnio for peace of mind. I'm praying that everything is okay with this baby and I will be a success story!
