nope - he is still a woman physically so it's not a big deal that he's pg. And I think it's disgusting he is exploiting his family this way.

I saw the promo the other day and was yelling at the tv "not a man, not a man!!"
So I'll be skipping it tonight.

It's actually very nicely done. I don't think they went out of their way for all this attention. They just wanted a child like everyone else. He/she said that they did finally pursue some of it for money to put towards the baby. I think their choices were to hide and have pictures of them being taken and get no money for it, or come out and get paid for it.

This is why I think they are exploiting the sitation - one he created. The headline is not pre-op transgender decided to have a baby, it's a man is having a baby.
As for not wanting attention...he has been on Oprah, Barbara Walters, other interviews, written articles, and created this special, etc - I think that falls in the going out of your way to get attention category.

i actually like the couple. i think they'll do a good job raising their child and will probably have many more. i just can't believe he's with her. she's so much older than him!
