Prego PT jobs
OK so I'm going to apply for a PT holiday job. Where, as a 5 month prego, would you work?
Starbucks?
Bed Bath and Beyond?
Somewhere else?
I would love to go to BRU, but would never make it on time from work for a weeknight shift...
Open to suggestions- anywhere between South Setauket and Patchogue.

Yes, Target gives discounts - I think they are 10%.
My mom worked there for awhile and found it to be physically exhausting - a lot of bending and picking up stuff - but, you might be able to get a job in the back office area - which wouldn't be too physically demanding.

Ugh OK- so Pier 1- the guy was worried about my prego belly bumping into things  but offered me thew job at $8.50 an hour. Eek.
Bed Bath and Beyond require serious ladder climbing.
Checking out Starbucks tonight.

I second the discount idea! How about Pottery Barn Kids, BRU or BBB or a Department Sotre in the Infant Department. They're shifts have to be the same as Pier 1 or Starbucks.

I worked for Target from Sept - Jan when I was in high school....PURE HELL! You stay at least 2 hours after closing to clean up and put away from the slobs!
I quick just after the holidays. I've never seen such a mess as I did on Xmas Eve.

I worked at the Children's Place first semester senior year of college. Other than standing on your feet, which you'll do anywhere, there wasn't any of the concerns people have voiced about other places. No idea how much they'll pay but you get an employee discount there too - 20% maybe? I don't remember, it was quite some time ago  .

I think you are better off at a smaller place like Starbucks or Pier I. BBB & Target are too crazy and they want you to work alot of hours. (This info is from prior experience)
