Prenatal care (insurance related)

How does your plan cover prenatal care? Im a little confused with my insurance (esp. since it is changing) just curious to know how everyone elses plan works

When I was pg with DS, I paid a copay at my first visit and that was it for the duration of the pregnancy.

ours does not cover any kind of vitamin(we have GHI) prenatal or not




Thanks for replying. I meant prenatal care, not prenatal vitamin.

Yea, this is what I thought. currently that is how my plan works but now I might be changing my plan where an office visit is 20% after the deductible is meet but I wonder if after I pay that first visit if everything after that is included. Ugh, I guess I'll have to call them

every obgyn and re visit has either been 15 or 30..more 30 visits cause i am always having blood and or sono

if i go to quest which is usally once a week or so its no charge that day and then i get a bill for 15 dollars

did i answer right lol..i really messed up ur thread

Sorry to crash. My insurance when i was pg with DD and with this pg also, i pay $20 every visit and everything done is my cost until my $3,000 deductible is reached, then im covered 100% until the birth to which i pay 20% of whatever the bill is.
