Preschool for 2 year olds - Two part question!
I didnt realize they had preschool for 2 year olds and this would be something I'd be interested in next year (he's 10 months now). So...where do I start to look for a program for 2 year olds in my area (Selden) and...DS' birthday is October 13 so he really wouldn't be 2 come the fall (september) but a month later...how does that work? where's the cut off?

i don't know your area, but check out many of the local churches/temples and some private preschools. i got recommendations from friends and knew what kind of program I wanted for DD. Go by for a visit and ask questions. Some programs take them at 2 and others want them 2 1/2 by the start date, in my experience. some want them potty trained, and others will take them in diapers, but won't change them (will call you to come). They might not let him attend until his is actually 2. I found programs fill up fast and there are wait lists.

DS is actually attending a camp program now, and will attend a 2 year old program at the same place in September. He just turned 2 last week. I looked in my local newspapers. Many churches and preschools advertised. We looked at 2 places in the area before we registered him.
