Preschool in Northport Area
I was wondering if anyone had any experiences positive/negative with the preschools in the Northport area. I am looking to register my daughter for a 2yr old program, but have no idea which school to go with. Any recommendations would be appreciated.
TIA

Re: Preschool in Northport Area
First question is (and you can FM me if you want)...what elementary school will your child be going?
The reason I ask is there are preschools that are more geared toward the elementary school & that's were the first friendships are formed. For example, if she goes to Village Preschool (EXCELLENT REPUTATION), but will be going to Dickinson or Fifth Avenue, she's going to be starting out with a whole bunch of new kids. It's not fatal but it does give the kids some comfort when they head off to kindergarten - also the mommy friend thing starts in pre-school too. I often feel like an outsider since I work. I choose what I feel is a great pre-school for my kids but it was outside of our school district.
