preschool recommendations

Since registration is starting for all the preschools, I was wondering if anyone had recommendations for one in the Wantagh, Seaford, Massapequa area. My son who just turned 4 recently got approved to start getting speech and OT, it's possible he may have a therapist coming to the school since it was mentioned at the meeting. He goes to a nursey school now but I don't think it's a great fit and a fresh start might be good for next year.

Also, do services stop in the summer? he'll probably be going to an agency

Thanks for our help!

My DD has been at Boces CRC in Bellmore. She gets all her services at school, and has shown tremendous progress in 3 years. I'm extremely happy with her being there. Feel free to FM me if you have questions!

Yes, I'm still trying to get them set up but he was just approved for speech and OT. He goes to a typical preschool right now but he's having a hard time so I'm wondering about next year. How often do they re-evaluate?

at your CPSE meeting they will determine if he needs a special ed pre-school.

did he have a special ed eval done (not a psych)?

He had speech, ot, psych and a classroom visit. Is the visit something different or part of the psych?
