Preschools/Nursery Schools in Nassau County?
Can anyone reccomend a good preschool or nursery school in or around Merrick? We are moving there in 3 weeks and I am looking to start my 3yo in a program in September, at least 3 or 4 days a week.
Any advice would be great! TIA

MY DS attends a daycare center in Merrick. They also have a preschool program and I believe they go up to kindergarten. I like it so far. Definitely worth checking out. You can FM me for details if you'd like.
I also really liked a program they offered at EAB (now Reckson) Plaza in East Meadow/Uniondale on Hempstead Tpke. They have daycare/preschool up through kindergarten I believe and it looked like a very enriching program. The company is called First Class.
You may also want to look into Merrick Woods on Merrick Avenue in East Meadow (right on the border of East Meadow and Merrick). I'm pretty sure they have a preschool program as well.

East Meadow has Big Chief and my nephew loves it. I'll probably put DS in there when he's 3, right now he has a home babysiter.
