Prescription turning my child into a wacko!!!
Gavin's on Albuterol and Augmentin and since he started taking them he has been an absolute insane boy!!!! Hyper cranky, which is a great combination  and not napping, which just adds to my frustration....
Please tell me it's the meds and my normal little boy will be back as soon as it's over!!!!
Oh, and he's cutting a new tooth too!!!!!

Albuterol made my son CRAZY!! He was super hyper, insomnia, cranky, attitude! I told my ped and he changed the RX. Call and let your ped know how you DC is acting...

Thanks Ro, we have a follow up appointment tonight so I will mention it. I'm hoping they'll take him off it totally today anyway.

story of my life!! we frequent many parks and bedtime went out the window.
I have to give it to Josh really early on library class days. If I do it before we leave, he looks like a crackhead spinning in circles in a corner

it's def the Albuterol.... it DEF affect the heartrate..... My sister and I both feel it when we use it.

When DS had ear infections and bronchitis- we used Xopenex in his inhaler..it seemed to work well. Is there a way to switch to that one?
The augmentin sux- it messed up my DS's stomach in a bad way- he hated it. Eating the Yo-baby seemed to help his stomach issues.
I hope Gavin feels better soon!
