Present for EI Teacher - Suggestions Needed
One of my twins received speech therapy for 6 months to correct a minor speach delay. Her therapist has been outstanding.
We would like to give her a present. Can anyone suggest something. Is money out of the question (she is a contractor for the state of NJ)? How about a gift card?
I will also post this on the special needs board.

Money or a gift card woulld absolutely be my pick. That's what I did at Xmas for Shane's therapists - new regulations for NYC actually cut down on the amount of sessions they are able to do with some kids, hitting them square in the paycheck. One of Shane's therapists is considering leaving the field altogether 
When DS transitions to CPSE later this year I also plan to give $$$$ I think that's what they need the most

Can i ask you what a speech therapist does with an infant. my twins were born 8 weeks early and i have an EI evaluation next week for them. DD's tongue protrudes through her mouth a little and i think she will need speech therapy. but what can they do with an infant? she is only 10 weeks old right now. TIA!
