Presenting Jasmine...
This is our 7 week old baby Rottie. We named her Jasmine. She is so adorable and DH and I are in love! So far so good with everything including the cat. MIL wanted to see her new grandchild so I took her to the family BBQ and they have 2 dogs so I was worried. She was ok but 2min. after we left the house she threw up all in my passenger's seat. UGH! (She was seat belted in the car). She is now fast asleep what a day with our new puppy!!! Thanks for all your help and advice on here, greatly appreciated and I am sure I will have plenty of ???'s Thanks Ladies!!

She's so cute! Congrats!!
ETA: Don't worry about the throw up unless it continues. It happened once with our 8 week puppy, and she just needed to rest and drink water. Good luck!

Re: Presenting Jasmine...
You should buy a traveling crate so that your puppy travels safely with you when you are in the car. The most you will spend is $25. And if your puppy throws up again, then you should consider taking your puppy to the vet otherwise it's fine. Cute Puppy!!!

Re: Presenting Jasmine...
dont worry about the throw up. my chihuahua barfs every car ride. its just their nerves. give her some ginger snaps before a car ride next time, it will help to settle her tummy.

Re: Presenting Jasmine...
awwww what a cutie. Bonnie threw up on her first long car ride, and she was seat belted in (the ones made for dogs). She would also drool a lot on following trips. Puppies inner ears aren't fully developed so they get dizzy and car sick easily. She could grow out of it, Bonnie has.

Right! I did buy the car seat today and she is finally learning out means to P'n P (poop & Pee) not to play.
Thanks, I have been dividing my time with Chilly (Cat) and Jazzy. So far no problems just both of them living on different floors. I hope Chilly will come around soon to explore Jasmine more.

Re: Presenting Jasmine...
All is almost going too smooth. I am a teacher so off for the summer and enjoy spending every minute with her. Sleeping on the floor next to the crate last night was rough but she is getting the idea of the crate and to do her business outside (hopefully). She sleeps a lot and I think I have more enegry to play than her. She went to the vet for checkup and she did get sick again outside the vet office and then again pulling into the driveway. Lucky she is a keeper cause puppy puke is yuck! She is napping, again so I am on for a quickie journal note. Anyone else's puppy sleep all the time??? My mom has a new pup 12 weeks and the energy of a madman as she put it
Thanks for the well wishes and good luck!

AAAAWWWW, sorry your pup is getting motion sickness!
As for the sleeping - yes, ours sleeps all the freakin' time. She'll get a burst of energy for about 15 min, and then pass out for an hour. She'll get more energy as she gets older.
