pressure down there (TMI)
I am at the end of 17 weeks. The last couple of days I ahve been feeling pressure. I called the doctor and they said as long as I dont feel like my uterus is going to all out its normal. Last night I worked late and started feeling like it was either swollen or something was in the vaginal canal. I went home laid down felt better this morning and am feeling it again. I ahve an appoint today at 1 to see the doctor for a cervix check so I am going to tell him. Did this happen to anyone else? what was the story, feeling really nervous this is my first.

Re: pressure down there (TMI)
I did feel something like that earlier on. .felt a LOT of pressure especially when walking, not so much like it was that low but that he was standing on my cervix. . one day it was so bad, I literally did a handstand, or a 1/2 handstand to be honest) to try to knock him in the other direction!!
always best to check with your doctor though as they have the experience, so follow up but try not to worry yourself too much.

Re: pressure down there (TMI)
Same thing happened to ne with my first pregnancy. I was also swollen for months down there. It didn't help all I do is sit all day long at work. My ob recommended I wear a belt to lift the belly a little bit. Medela sells it. It worked early on but once my belly was huge there was nothing that helped.
DS was constantly stretching his arms and legs. He was in position for a long time. And to boot the boy had a big head (still does) so all of that didn't help me.:(

Actually YES. Last week in fact. Im 15 wks now. But last week i had the pressure. Like something needed to be pushed out. Such a weird feeling. With slight swollen feeling. I went to Dr as well. All looked perfect. Baby was fine. I think its part of round ligament pain. From all of the stretching. The only difference between you & me is. Since that night i had it. I went to sleep woke up the next day & i havent had it since. But im sure you will be fine. The Docs really dont have a large explanation of this feeling.

The doctor actually told me that is was the ligament stretching, I went today. He said my uterus is moving out of my pelvis and becomes its own organ, so that is what is causing it. I saw the baby everything looked good baby moving alot so I feel better.
Thanks ladies. Feel good
