Pressure in belly
Trying to make this as short as possible.
I have been feeling flutters in the same spot for about a week and a half now (I'm 16w3d today) - I would define it as my lower left belly ... maybe 3 inches diagonally from my bellybutton. When I went to my last OB appt, that's where the baby was hanging out when we heard the HB.
Today, in that same spot, I stood up and had an insane amount of pressure. It didn't hurt, but it did cause me to gasp because I haven't yet experienced anything like that yet.
Thoughts?

I'm not sure, but it might be the baby growing. I always feel pressure in my belly when the baby is going through a particularly big growth spurt!

It's funny because I have been feeling the same thing but the only way I could describe it was if the baby was pushing its butt out to stretch when I was further along. I don't ever remember it happening this early but I see my midwife on Fri so I'm gonna ask

Sounds like a growth spurt to me. I get that feeling sometimes and then a few days later I'll notice my belly is a little bigger than before. Try not to worry about it unless you're feeling severe pain for an extended period of time.

Oooh - let me know what you hear from the midwife, if you don't mind!
Thanks everyone for the responses! I am not worried, just sort of puzzled. New sensation, and all that.

It's funny you mention this now because today I felt this too. I feel a really bloated feeling. I feel a lot of pressure today. It's strange because I haven't felt it until today. I'm almost 20 weeks.
