Pretty disgusting behavior...
My grandmother lives in FL. Yesterday my father called to say someone had broken into her home - thankfully, she was not there.
However, they stole some money and jewelry, and my grandfather's ashes!! Pigs! Who knows if they knew what they were taking, but that's very upsetting!

I question if they knew what it was. I wonder if there is any chance they're halfway decent, will figure out that it was an urn, and bring it back.
I guess I'm pretty naive to think that.

I actually got choked up for a second when I read this. I have such a soft spot for old people and can't believe that someone would do this.

this is one of the most horrible things i have ever heard!! i'm so sorry for your grandmother. those people should be ashamed of themselves. not only to steal from an elderly woman but to steal her husband's ashes is disgusting.
