Price ranges for redoing kitchen cabinets
Thinking of doing this. Our cabinets are cracking and I can't get a bigger refrigerator, as nothing else other than what I have will fit in the space. I know it gets pricey, but can anyone give me a ball park of ranges it costs? I have no idea what I am in for.

Re: Price ranges for redoing kitchen cabinets
It really depends on so many things. If you are completely replacing cabinets, when you order them you will have choices of pressboard, part pressboard and plywood or all plywood. All plywood is the most expensive but the better quality. My advice, go to HD or Lowes with measurements of your kitchen and have them build your kitchen with cabinets. That way you can get the cost of just the cabinets. Countertops are additional. Plus labor.

Re: Price ranges for redoing kitchen cabinets
It really depends on the cabinets you pick and the size of your kitchen.
I would price around your cabinets
I priced mine at consumers, HD and Lowes. HD and Lowes were 2x the price with less extras.
We installed ourselves so we saved a TON!!!! The only thing in my kitchen I had someone install was the granite so my kitchen was at least half of what I would have paid someone else to do

Re: Price ranges for redoing kitchen cabinets
If you post some pics or tell me what size it is then I will definitely tell you the price ranges for cabinets. You can get so many varieties in online and off line market also. Especially in Christmas you can try to research it.

Re: Price ranges for redoing kitchen cabinets
Thanks. I just have no idea how cheap to expensive it could get. I have the builders cheap cabinets from 15 years ago and they are cracking. Of course they are also outdated. I don't want to go crazy and want to do it over as nice and inexpensive as I can. I guess I will try Consumers, HD and Lowes.

Re: Price ranges for redoing kitchen cabinets
I went to Consumers and had a great experience. I paid in the 14k range for my cabinets (average sized kitchen) but I also got many extras such as ceiling height, crown molding, under cabinet molding, etc. I love my cabinets so I saw no need to get anything more expensive. That was the cost for just the cabinets, not installation.
